I've been meaning to ask this for a while. I'm putting v codes under the front of the excursion. I am taking a break right now, have passenger side done and will finish up other side in a bit. Preliminary numbers on the passenger side and it sits with about 1/2" rake.
Rear springs look to be more expensive than fronts. I have an extra set of rear springs from the parts vehicle, my question is can I take a few leaves from the parts rig and add them to the daily driver, in order to gain a bit of lift in the rear? Kindof like a modded b spring, but using my stock springs?
I am doing the front swap because I can tell that they are weak, but as far as I'm concerned the rear ones are just fine.
Might I suggest you put the front on....then do nothing for a week.
You might be ok with it as is. Maybe not. The rake and or minus rake may not be anything of note. Or substantial and you want to address it.
Regardless you will be so happy you ditched those garbage front springs.

Good luck
Yeah I plan on waiting to see how things settle out. Who knows, maybe now that the junk fronts are gone, I'll be able to notice if the rears are worn out.
If I do anything merely to lift it a bit, I'm leaning to the extra springs, just because I have them already, unless the blocks are better somehow.

Generally blocks would never be better than springs. The issue is that springs may become to stiff by adding to much arch or to many leaves. The whole point of a spring is to spring
