It's a 2004 F350, 117,000 miles. Problem started when I hauled quads and trailer up to Cloudcroft. No problem on the way. When we started up to come home I didn't have any boost to steering or brakes at low rpm, 1100 or less. Above that it was there. This was on a Tuesday, two weeks ago. No choice but to drive home 150 miles.
Wednesday, problem still there. Made appointment to take it back to where I had the steering pump replaced last September. Thursday morning, driving to get it looked at and every thing starts working again and no problems since. The fluid was not low although I did add a couple of ounces of it.
Any ideas on what caused this?
