Older truck Marti Report?

Never heard of a Marti report before so I looked it up on the interweb...
"We are the privileged licensee (contract #5012) to Ford Motor Company's entire production database for the 1967-2007 model years. We can tell you everything about any Ford, Lincoln, or Mercury made in the United States or Canada during 1967-2007. What color was your car? Easy. What rear axle ratio? Sure. What day was the car sold? Yeah, even that - and a whole lot more."
Looks like you are out of luck for the 56 year model.

Regarding data on a '56, there is some information out there, but Ford tossed a lot of records over the years. As far as ownership, registration or sales information regarding a specific truck, I doubt any of that is available anywhere.
We can help decipher most of the information available on the data/warranty plate if you post the information or clear pictures of the plate.

Marti reports are popular with the Mustang crowd. Kevin Marti has bought all of Ford's information, and will sell you a report on your favorite Ford product. This is the Ford information, Marti has the exclusive contract, and you won't be able to get some of the info he sells from Ford.
He sells several, some start at about 20 bucks, and it goes up from there to about 200 for the framed fancy one. It's my understanding that Ford did not retain this information for anything prior to 1967 (with the Mustangs, anyway, although he may have something for earlier vehicles of other models), as you can't get info on anything older than that.
The cheaper ones decode your VIN (the guys here are just as good, and it costs less), but the more expensive ones break down everything from date of original sale, to original dealer, exact date of manufacture, etc, etc.
Here's a copy of one for one of my Mustangs, broken down into how many are like yours...

I'm sure that Numberdummy can fill us in on this.

You may also note the error in the Ford data, it says "Candyapple Red - Interior Trim Color" when it should say exterior color.
