That part you're pointing at is the tailshaft housing which is sometimes called the extension housing. There's a 2wd and 4wd version available but it's considered part of the transmission even though it's removable. So you can sell it with the trans.
The ZF you need will have to be a 4x4 version as well so that the transfer case bolts up, a 2wd ZF will NOT work. I've also been told you can use a ZF from an F-Super Duty (OBS F-450) because the driveline mounted parking brake uses that same bolt pattern and output shaft.
I've heard about the 2wd F-Superduty ZFs, too. I do tend to forget about them while looking, but need to stay focused. I probably have until next year before I really need it. Well, maybe early fall this year.
