Tailgate step question
As many of you know I have been having a problem getting my step to pop out of the tailgate when pushing the button.. I have to get my fingers in there and pull the step out.
Looking at it today it seems to me that the yellow cap on the handle isn't sticking out as far as it used to it's now only about a 1/2" from the black tube.
Can someone take a look at yours and see how far it sticks up?

Thanks!! The dam problem is it only doesn't work right when I need to use it..
If I'm trying to figure out the problem it works like it should 90% of the time. You know if I took it to the dealership it would work perfect!
