I dont know if anyone else has this problem but I'll throw this out there anyway.
My tailgate arms were rattling around something fierce everytime I would hit a bump. I was going to try and switch them out for the newer style cables but while searching my toolbox for a cigar cutter I came across some scrap rubber tubing. Figured I would give this a go.
I split two 2" pieces of tube and zip tied them on the arm. It quieted the rattle and doesnt seam to get in the way when opening and closing the tailgate.
