Broken Extended Cab Door Cables!
Anyone else have issues with their extended cab door handle breaking?! 
I took the door apart and it looks like the two plastic ends on the cable are broken off in the latch. I did some searching around and found a kit that is sold online that looks like aluminum replacement ends for the door cables... I'd rather just replace the door cables but they're over $40 each and I need two!

Has anyone actually used one of these kits or am I just wasting my money? Advice would be appreciated thanks!

You can remove the door pannel with the door closed. From there you should see the cables. pull on the cables as you lift the handle.

The cable ends got here a couple days ago and as you know it is wet in Florida with our daily rains.
Have managed, after two days, to get one cable installed in the to latch. Quite a chore to do this. A bit more to it than the videos show but the next ones will be easier after the learning curve has got past.
Thanks for the utube as it was very good way for me to figure things out.
The other three cables will go a lot easier.
