The door latch on my '01 F-150 no longer opens the door and after reading on the forums I'm suspecting that the door cable is the culprit. Apparently the OEM plastic ends on the cable break over time and they compress when the cable is put in compression instead of opening the door.
It seems like it could be a much quicker and cheaper fix than replacing the door cables themselves. Has anyone used these before and how well do they work?
