Year Range 1988 E250
My cruise control cable jammed, wrecking it and the accelerator cable. I am having trouble finding parts up here in the great white north. I can order the accelerator cable from the states but can't find any listings for the cruise control cable. Any suggestions? I am in a bit of a time crunch and checking wreckers which so far don't have anything that old. Can anyone tell me what years would work? Thanks in advance.

change the throttle cable and leave the cruise cable unhooked until you can find the right part.
cables will likely fit up to 91 only. 92 was a complete change eventhough some engines carried over. If you are in a bind, get some stainless braided cable and make up your own ends. brass nut with cable hole and steel lock screws
crude but effective................used it for a throttle cable on my 79 supercab w/cummins conversion> used steel brakeline for the cable tube.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have been out of town for the last few days, but did manage a temporary fix with the throttle cable. I have a new one ordered, but absolutely no luck with the cruise control cable - old one is unhooked. I read that the manufacturer is now out of business?? Guess I will have to keep hunting and the luxury of cruise control will seem even better if/when I have it back.
