digital transmission range sensor questions

Does anyone know a solid definite way to test the dtr sensor on a 2006 f 150?

Then don't waste your precious time commenting on them, I explained my whole problem and then asked specific questions about individual problems.

I wont. Some people cant answer your questions. I know on other forums you would get a lot of comments just on your attitude here........... Sounds to me you did a good job in screwing up your truck

Problem is the owner of the vehicle continued driving as the engine fell to pieces and caused catastrophic mayhem to occur. Engine got so hot that it melted the insulators in the starter and it shorted out the third time I cranked it to build oil pressure and fried the pcm
