Windshield and roof rust question?

As of now nothing leaks but I know it will if left unchecked. I just want to know a ballpark estimate to fix the windsheild and water gutter(?) rust at a body shop without paint and with paint. I do not have the resources nor experience to do this and I don't want it to get worse. The PO painted over it.

its like this all across the top of the windsheild

this is on both sides

Looks like someone was already doing Bondo work along the windshield due to the 1/2 assed work from the conversion

We can't give an accurate idea on cost because we do not know what is involved. Neither will a reputable body shop until they tear into it.

I would be planning on at least $1000. While there are there I would have them also fix the abortion of a roof splice that Centurion did as well

1000 for the metal work and painting, what if I just wanted the metal work done, and I'm pretty sure I could do the roof splice

If you can do the splice then you can put a new roof on

You'd be better served to ask a body shop what they'd charge you then to have us guess at it. If you can, pull the headliner out beforehand so they can look inside. It really depends on local labor rates and the amount of rot/rust/bondo that we can't see.
