power window sticking
Hey, I have a 94 ranger with electric windows and the passenger side window will roll down fine. Wen I try to roll it up it jitters and get stuck in three different particular heights(same every time) and when it catches I have to pull it up while pushing the window button. I took off the door panel and sprayed lubricant in the tracts and it did not help. Also on the sprayed the guide bar that is vertical, nothing has helped and I'm not sure what the problem would be. Most likely your regulator and/or motor are beginning to show their age. Being in the auto/truck glass biz I've seen this before but I don't spend a lot of time trying to rehab parts that old.
If lubricating the vertical tracks doesn't help the we need to check the mechanical parts. RockAuto or another vendor might have a good aftermarket replacement for you.
