I just installed Torque Pro on my Galaxy Tablet so I thought i'd give it a try this morning in Denver. After sitting overnight the sensors for EOT and ECT were within 2 degrees. Travelling North on I25 from Denver to Loveland ambient temps were upper 50's to low 60's. I tried to do 65 but with traffic volume I ended up at closer to 70 for most of the trip.

At 65 ECT held at about 188 and EOT stayed around 195 maxing out at 201.

Trans temp stayed at 160

At 70+ the Delta would go above 15 but would lower as the fan rpms increased.

I do like this program, I did see one fault code P0401 EGR flow insufficient.

Carfax report shows that the EGR valve was replaced years ago.

Still finding out all the things this Excursion has had done.

 

For information on Torque Pro, Moey_pit is the man to talk to. He has done a lot of experimentation with it.

 

P0401 wonder if you have egr cooler delete--maybe a stealth delete?

 

Carfax shows the engine/powertrain computer module was reprogrammed. Maybe a tune or flash?

 

Don't think that would do it but could be wrong. If you clear the code and it comes back either a bad egr valve (maybe--not sure) but I would bet egr delete--just a guess though. Is there an egr cooler in place?
