You'll need to put a couple of ferrite choke cores on each end of the cable between the chip and switch. You can find them at Radio Shack.

Thank you, I looked on the link you sent. Do the make them for a flat cord? The hydra has a flat (7 wire I think) cord going to the switch and chip. And how close do I need to put them to the switch and chip. I can get them a couple inches away on both, but not right up to them.

I forgot the hydra cable is a ribbon, I have DP Tuner. I guess you get get some bigger chokes and fold the ribbon. A few inches away from each end shouldn't be a problem. This is the first I've heard about a problem with the hydra and hids. You might wanna call PHP and see what they say.

I called php and they said put them on as well. Iv been looking all over google and only found 1 place and there way to big. Can anyone shoot me in the right direction or send me a link to some they have used on there hydra. And it may be that my main head lights are 55w because when I turn my 35w fogs on they don't do anything to it. My wait to start and water in fuel light come on when I flip them on.

Would something like this, from Mouser work?

Round barrels are common use, but this usually requires installation BEFORE the ends are put on.

I haven't had my hands on a Hydra yet, so can't say for sure
