What did you use to bypass it? Just a piece of brake line and two female ends?
The lines going into the valve are two dif sizes. I can't remember what size though. I purchased the appropriate couplers, re-bent the lines so they could be attached together then re-bled the rear brakes. Got my info doing a google search, may have even been off this site. Many people complain it makes the rear brakes very sensitive although i have had no issues with that.
Hey need help again. I went to our local HCI (Like McMaster-Carr) and got the correct Viton o-rings, but I am still getting leakage on one injector. Is it possible that something internal failed inside the injector and is putting pressure in the return cap?
Also when I pulled the return lines they were empty. I did the passenger side valve cover gasket as well and when I took my fuel filter off both of the fuel lines (in and out) were empty as well. What gives on this?
If the cap has any casting flash, it will leak. They can also be deformed, try swapping it out for one of the good ones you took off.
I did have a leaking cap on mine after doing the complete cap and o-ring job, it turned out to be a bad injector. It had combustion gasses backing up into it melting the o-ring.
I used a coating of grease on the o-rings. Tried it with 3 different new caps and one of the factory caps. Going to swap an injector from another cylinder and see if that stops it.
If you want to turn off the abs light drop your glove box down the abs computer is right there just unplug it it does nothing but operate that valve. If you take an injecto from another cylinder won't you just be moving the one that is leaking to another cylinder?
Just wanted to make a update with a repair I figured out. Take an extra o-ring and put it on top of the cap so when the line nut is tightened it holds a little pressure on the cap. the o-ring will just start to squish when the line is tight.
