I just purchased my first F-250 Super Duty diesel Lariat and i have been reading up on my owners manual for detailed information pertaining to my truck. Where can i find the gear ratio for my specific truck? I'm also looking for the exact towing capacity, pay-load, and 5th wheel towing capabilities for my new truck. I'm trying to get this information since i'll be traveling from California to Quantico in septyember and i'm trying to guestimate the MPG and $$$ i'll need to spend on fuel, DEF for this travel.
Thank you in advance for helping me locate this information.
It also depends on how heavy your 5th wheel is. I would guess 8 then you will have some room on the fuel mileage money. As for the gear ratio it may be on a sticker in the door jamb
I checked the door jam, no information pertaining to my gears or max load capacity. I used both of those sites and they just blanket all trucks. I also noticed i have a over sized hitch for the truck that requires a sleeve to go over the normal hitch inorder to fill the spacing. Has anyone figured out why its so large, and where i can find a locking pin big enough to fit, since no auto store around me has one large enough?

The trucks come from the factory with steel tag held in place by a couple of the rear diff cover bolts. The tag has the ratio on it.
It sounds like you have an aftermarket 2 1/2" hitch, measure yours. You can buy 2 1/2" drops at trailer dealers or order them online.(like etrailer) Spacers on 2" drops just create more slop buy the right size drop for your receiver.
