Stock should be 3.73. Mine is a 99 and 3.73 is what I have, but it is 4x4 I do not know if the gear ratios are different from a 2 wheel drive vs 4 wheel drive. I am pretty sure they are the same.

That information is helpful is the vin # and vehicle certification label the same? If not where would I find the vehicle certification label? I checked over my vin and I have a C8 in it but that does not seem to be on the list.
