94 Explorer door (door pull) HELP

Hi,
I sent a pic to a shop back east that has replacements for the door pull and they said that they had never seen that doon on an Explorer.
Is there a way to post that pic so you guys can tell me what to do?

Are you speaking of the plastic handle that you pull from the outside? If so, I replaced my driver side on my 1993 for about $32.00 from the dealer. It only needed a spring but they sold the complete unit versus the spring. You should be able to send a pic as an attachment to any e-mail address.

Is the inside handle stuck out and won't go back into normal position? but the door will open and close fine from the outside? I have this problem in a 91 explorer, rear door and haven't looked into fixing it yet, but if it's a cheap repair, I'd do it. Let me know if it's like this and what you find out.

no....
Its the door pull. the thing you grab to pull the door and close it.
I have a XL so its a bit different than the XLT

They'd never seen that on an explorer? It's actually quite common for those to break. Both of my front doors are broken, but I haven't got around to fixing it. I've seen them sometimes on e-bay, but you don't always get the same color as the rest of your interior.

I just went through this. Go to ebay.com they have the inside door pulls for less than $20. Installation is a snap.

search using "ford explorer" or "interior" .
