Cummins swap clearance issues using dcs mounts?
Hey guys doing a Cummins swap and I'm running into clearance issues using the dcs mounts they say that I can mount the motor without using engine fan in the stock trans location. Well I checked that yesterday and my steering shaft hits the mount and I could only use one bushing because of the shaft. Also the motor is super close to radiator like maybe a inch from damper. So could I do electric fans on the front side of the radiator? Also I'm looking at using a van radiator as they were a lot less narrow mine now is like 2 and a half inches but the van is like 1 1/4 inches. Orrr I could move trans but I really didn't want to open that can of worms if I didn't have to. What your thots? Thanks guys

Most of these so called diesel swap company's are hacks. If your clearance is that tight I would put those mounts back in the box and return them. There is plenty of room fore and aft in our engine bays for a cummins. I have 3/4 of an inch between the fan clutch and radiator, and I could've mounted my engine further back.
Please put up some pictures of what you are working with. Also try to be better with your description of what's going on. Some of your wording has me confused.
