Hey I'm going nuts here. I'm trying to remove the front door panel on the passenger side. I removed the 3 screws, the trim panel from around the door handle, and pried the window and door lock control out with no problems. I have no idea how to release the nine clips that are supposed to be holding the panel on at this point. I'm so stuck! I know you are supposed to lift up, not away from the door, but I'm strong and I can tell that any more lifting will possible damage the plastic parts. I'm confused as heck here. This was my project for today but now I'm sitting on my hands impatiently. Look what I've been reduced to:
Thanks

If you already have the screws out of the door panel, then all that is left should be the push pins in the back of the panel that slide into the holes in the door. There is a specific tool that is made to be able to pull the pins out of the holes without breaking the heads off the pins. You can find them at any local parts store. If you feel good about doing it without it, you can also use a flat head screwdriver to pull the door panel back a little, then use a pair of pliers around the pin to pull them out...

Thanks for clearing things up for me Cobra.
I'm having trouble finding these holes though. I'm going to go pick up the tool once I find out where to use it. The screwdriver and pliers thing is out; I'm afraid I'll damage the panel.
They are not really clips - they are a push pin. If you take your fingers and pull the bottom corner out some (may need a flathead to get it away from the steel), you can see where the pins are. That pictures shows their location pretty well.
Even if you damage a pin, you are not going to lose much. You can buy a package of the pins from Ford for less than $5.00. I think most Auto Zones, etc, carry them also. They are plastic - usually either a clear/white color or black color. The heads on them are the part that breaks the most. They attach to the door panel and break when you just grab the door panel and yank it off.
The pins come straight out. You just pull the door panel straight to get the pins out of the door, then once they are all lose, then lift up on the door panel to get the lip off the window seal.
P.S. - If you look at the bottom picture on that site, you will see the holes in the door. They are barely larger than a pencil to go through. Look at the plastic liner on the door, and look for the holes around the edges of it...
