The 92 had a 4pin plug and the 95 had a 6pin plug. That is the difference.
The 1992 Brake Controller and trailer plug wiring:
/
I currently have a trailer plug under bumper. It appears to be factory as it had the Ford logo. I had to change it out to the RV 7 flat blade type socket as it was a 7 pin round type. The 7 pin round that I replaced had the Ford logo.
I also have an RV 7 blade flat socket in truck bed near left fender hump as original owner had an overhead camper and I assume used this plug for camper electrical hook up.
1. So, with my 1992, what will I have under my dash?
2. Which Tekonsha adapter will work for me?
3. Will I have to run anything from battery or fuse box for brakes?
I'm a little confused on how to wire up this controller and have never had to hard wire one of these....as my previous trucks were newer and were plug and play type.
The wiring to the plugs at the controller should be something like the below diagram.
The black dots are the but connectors in the post #7 above.
Not that diagram is for a 6pin C210 but just look at the wire colors and not the numbers.

Weird. Tekonsha said mine took the "6 pin" but the pins didn't line up. The four pin fit into the 6 pin socket though. Mine also had a dealer installed Tekonsha Voyager installed.
picked up a 1998 Jayco 243RKS. It's older and small but has a queen bed up front, dinette, jack knife couch and nice rear kitchen. One original owner and he kept it very clean. Easy to tow, can fit into any state park, and it was not too expensive!
1. How do I know if I have a factory installed trailer towing/wiring option?
If it has the towing package it would have the extra relay box mounted on the side of the fuse/relay box as in the photo below.

Maybe, but it depends if it was special ordered and what they ordered. I will guess that you could just special order the trailer wiring by itself.
But I would think to be very rare.
It means you do have the factory wiring going to the rear of the truck and the blue wire running all the way from the C210 plug to the rear of the truck.
This is called "Trailer/Camper Adapter" in the wiring diagrams.
But it could also mean that someone added the relay box and did their own wiring for the trailer plug wiring.
