1984 Dump

I just picked up a 1984 F350 (I think) with a dump box.

vin 2FDJF37G1ECA53034 and I can't find the GVW, I believe it was originally purchased as cab and chassis. It is a 4 spd with pto and a 351.

Any info on this truck would be appreciated.

The 4th digit "J" is the 9001 to 10,000lb GVW class.

Man good luck, I have a 460 and got a fan shroud off a 96 truck with a 460, it is much thicker (shroud cover the entire fan) but it did fit.

Sorry to hijack, but could I possibly get the shroud part number for an 83 F250, 4x4 with 460, C-6 and AC, I think the one I purchased wont be sufficient for cooling when it gets in the above 100 degree season and I repair the AC system.

Thanks, Jeremy

E3TZ-8146-F .. Fan Shroud / Marked on upper left (drivers) side corner: E3TA-FA / 20 51/64" high x 28 7/16" wide / Obsolete

1983/84 F250/350 460 / No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.

Muy caliente en San Antonio, whiz over to the Menger Hotel Bar (where TR raised the Rough Riders) and have a cool one.

Or to the Buckhorn Saloon, where I corrected some of the descriptions of Colt SAA's & Winchester 1895's a coupla days after they opened.

Thanks Bill! A group of fellow Infantrymen I am associated with grab drinks there frequently, heck my kids make me take them there to see if we can see ole Teddy's ghost from time to time, And have spent quite a bit of time there at the Buckhorn as well, and as "gun nut" have a deep appreciation for the early firearms and how they forged this country!

Thanks again

Here is how to post pic's on FTE

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ure-guide.html

Here is one way by "Axracer"

Do you have digital pix of your truck from digital camera or phone on your computer? If so it is easy to add them to a post (assuming the file is not too large). Find the pic on your computer and leave it open while you come here in another window. Compose a post, click where you want the pic to appear in the post. Click on the picture icon at the top of the posting box (looks like a postcard with mountains and sun) A dialog box will open asking if you want to drag a pic onto the box or browse your computer to find it. If you have the pic open, go there, right click anywhere on the pic and chose copy from the menu. Come back to your post and right click on the box. Select paste from the menu. Your picture should appear (it may take a few seconds to load) in the box. Now left click on the insert button.
If the stars all aligned your picture should now be in your post window. Select post to have it appear on the forum or repeat to add more pix. Some cameras make huge files these days that are larger than the forum limits. You may need to resize or resample the picture and save the smaller file version with whatever picture editing software came with your picture taking device before you can post it.

Oh! and welcome to FTE and the old truck madness.
