Not Your Everyday Noob!
Been in the automotive field since I was 15, formerly trained by 18, trained by the school of life 52 years and counting. I've owned all ranges of Ford cars and trucks except for a Crown Vic and F150. Employed as a Ford dealership body man 28 of those years, independent with my own shop the rest.
Been considered disabled since 1994 cuz of 6 total hip replacements, 6 reconstructed shoulders, and 2 carpal tunnel surgeries among others. But I still manage to do the things I love most whenever I physically can. Am a MASTER REFINISHER with 37 total years of hands-on experience.
In April I found and bought my 3rd and final Ford Excursion, a 2005 Excursion with 13,500 ORIGINAL miles for $15,000.00. Can you dig it! Poor baby has salt damage which I'm beginning to repair and/or replace. My first choice is to replace whatever I can find NEW, use previously owned parts if they're "like new", and as a very last resort hit the bone yard if there are NO other alternatives available.
I'd love to help anybody if they're on my area so let me know. Help is defined as repair or install anything you might need at NO COST TO YOU. That's means if you HAVE what you need I'll do the work you provide the stories. I'll even be glad to teach anyone my craft when time and my physical condition allows me to.
Hope to meet a lot of you guys and learn from you too!
I'm not your average everyday Noob, I've owned 3 Excursions, 2000, 2003, and now this 2005. Excursions are by far the BEST vehicles I've ever owned or driven. This "new" (to me) Excursion will be the last vehicle I ever drive. Who can afford a $65,000.00 (est.) truck with their monthly payments every few years

Thank you all! I wish I found out about this form years ago! I wish everyone a good week and to continue enjoying the toys you have. You never know how much you'll miss them until you can't use them.
Should anyone EVER need any kind of help please don't hesitate to write. If I can be of service...consider it done. Well have fun doing it together and learning new things.
