Hello, the wife and I just bought a 91 F350 4x4, utility bed with the 7.3 IDI for our little farm. The truck has unknown miles but runs very well. It does have some issues, which is why I am here, this looks like the place to get some help and learn from those who have worked on these wonderful old trucks.
I am not new to turning wrenches, been doing it since 1976, but only on my own vehicles. This is my first diesel and I chose it for its simplicity, lack of computer control and ease of wrenching on it. My other current truck is a 2003 Chevy 2500HD 4x4 with 303000 miles on it. Don't growl, it has been an excellent truck with only a few repairs needed. Unfortunately it doesn't need any wrenching and the old IDI will certainly keep my idle little hands busy.
