For Paragon I would recommend adding some clear armor where you push on the panels to open the cover. or offering it as a option. Clear armor would not be that noticeable and would prevent scratches in the paint

Thank you for the suggestion - that is now on the "tickler list" for future brainstorming!

This is my 4th Ford truck in 6 years and I have had three different tonneau covers. I have a fifth wheel and want a cover easily accessible to truck bed but able to be locked and not vinyl. Tossed between Backflip G2 and Peragon. Not great reviews on Backflip and saw the Ford version at the dealer. Thinking of going with Peragon based on video. Are there any discounts out there that would make my decision easier?

I'm glad to hear we've made your short list! We do have a bonus offer for forum members, hopefully that tips you to a Peragon cover! Since you're new to the forum (welcome!), I can't PM you. If you email our team "sales at peragon dot com" they'll be able to give you the details.

I vote for the Peragon cover as well. And for good reason. It is extremely versatile. I love the fact that I don't have to pre-plan a hauling trip for any reason. If I need that extra little bit of room in the bed the folding panel can be removed in a matter of seconds and tuck nicely in the cab of truck. Most hard covers take much longer to remove and require you to leave them behind. Either at home or say the home improvement store. Either way it's nine times out of ten requiring a second trip and wasted fuel. And the folding covers either block the rear window or still require to be removed for the room taken up by the canister. And who wants to do that? I can't stress enough how happy I am about with my Paragon cover. Not to mention all of the compliments I get with the cover.
Something else that I do with my cover is with the pull strap. I simply tie it to the handle for my tailgate step. That way it's always at the tailgate making it easy to grab and pull the cover closed. Otherwise the strap can slide to the center of the truck bed, making it hard to reach with outgoing climbing into the bed to reach the strap.
There's a fella on my route who is a Line X dealer. With that he sells all kinds of truck goodies. I was talking about my Peragon with hi last week and he mentioned that a guy came in with one and had his bed sprayed
He said he liked it better than what he sells but Peragon doesn't sell via dealers. Definitely keeps down the cost and increases / improves customer service.

Thanks for not selling out Heath!!
Well said, Tim, thank you! If we ever build a dealer network, it will be done slowly and carefully so we keep the soul of what Peragon has always been and our Customer Experience top shelf!

Hmmm, I'm usually hangin' my hat over in the 7.3L or 6.0L Diesel forums. But I've been racking my brain since Christmas looking at different cover options so I decided to look here. I'm getting tired of the snow in the back of the truck beds. I'll have to check this one out for sure. First time I heard of it Peragon. Thanks for posting this thread!
