Congrats on the order! My cover is four (4) years old this month and the fine folks at Peragon still treat me as if I bought the cover yesterday.

Wanna leave the Tidewater area and come up to help me mount this new Peragon once it arrives?

Sadly my time to travel is pretty inflexible BUT, if you want to make a trip to Tidewater, I have all the tools needed to make for a fun installation. I'll bet we could rustle up some grub too.

Thank you for your interest in a Peragon cover! The forum isn't giving me the PM option for you, but if you reach out to our team via email sales at peragon dot com, they can fill you in on the details of the special deal for FTE members.

Peragon owners can you tell me the distance from the bottom of the truck bed to the bottom of the Peragon cover when it's folded against the front of the bed?

When the cover is folded or stowed against the front of the bed, there is 10 inches of clearance on the 2009-2014 F-150's.

When the cover is up, there is 23 inches of clearance. These numbers may vary depending on model of F-series and generation of F-150.

Thanks for that info on the measurements. If that is the same as a 1999 F250 I will be good to go...

Hey Bud, thanks for the ping. 1L243, if you have the 81" bed, the panels (six of them) will hang down about 13" below the top of your truck bed when the cover is folded up front. If you have the 97" bed, the panels (eight of them) will hang down about 12". If you subtract that from the depth of your bed (with any liner), you should get the number you're looking for. I hope that helps! If you need a more exact number for a special application, please let me know. Depending on what you are trying to accomplish, I could check with one of our engineers to do more exact calculations with some data from you.

Peragon did send me some measuremeants from their web site. I have a Rampage motorcycle lift bolted to the bed of my truck. The main frame of the lift is about 8"high.

It's difficult for me to measure down from the top of the bed I currently have a canopy on the truck.

I was hoping someone with a 1999 to 2006 long bed ford F250 (97" bed) could measure the distance from folded Peragon to the bed of the truck

In this picture the main frame of the Rampage lift will remain in the truck. it's about 8" high allowing for a 1/2" or so of wiggle room. The Wheel dock you see at the end of the lift can be moved to the back of the bed so it will actually be out of the way..
