I have a 2000 F250 V10 6.8L. How do I know when negative battery cable I need without taking the battery out? Do I need the one with the leads on both ends or no leads?
Also, why do the positive battery cables look so complicated in the pictures? What all is the positive cable attaching too?
Sorry these are dumb questions. I fix my jeep all the time but am fairly new to the Ford V10 engine system.
Go to your favorite parts store and tell the guy behind the counter you need a negative battery cable for your truck. He'll fix you up.
Well, why didn't I think of that. The problem is, I don't buy my battery cables from the local auto parts store. Those are crap. I buy my battery cables from custombatterycables.
