A friend has a 69 ford ranger and is looking for the original bed rails that would have came on truck. Says he can't find anywhere. Does anyone have an idea of what they may be. If so post pics please. Thanks for any help
LMC use to sell has some aftermarket reproduction ones for a 73-79....maybe DC or NPD for the older stuff? LMC does not show them in there online catalog??
This kit was used on 1973/91 short beds (not 1983/91 Rangers). Several years ago, I found one for FTE member Phil105. He bought and installed it on his short bed Bumpside...pics in his photo gallery.
At one time, there were dozens of these NOS short bed kits available, mostly from Ford dealers.
But after Phil105 bought a kit, I posted the part numbers/sources for both the 6 3/4' & 8' bed rail kits. Most went bye-bye very quickly. Now there's only ONE short bed kit available..
NOS PARTS SOURCE in Olathe KS has 1 = 913-220-5746 / No Ford dealer, no other obsolete parts vendor has any.
Dennis Carpenter had both the short & long bed rail kits listed in his 1967/79 truck repro parts catalog. These were NOS, cuz he bought all of FoMoCo's remaining inventory.

Thanks for the info. I'll pass it along to my friend.
