I just got a 56 international s150, but it came with a ford script bed on it. It looks to be about 15' long, tho i just paced it off. Any Idea what it came off of? It just has Ford in the middle not Ford Truck. Ty for any information!!
I tried to get some pics but they came out too dark, i'll get some good ones and an accurate measurement tomarrow and post them up and see if someone may be able to identify it. ty vm
You wouldn't want to disgrace the International name by driving that thing around town with "FORD" emblazoned on the back of the bed. I'll help you out by taking it off your hands so you can put a real bed on it.
Script beds were used at least from 1948 up to at the latest, 1964. I have saved on my home computer copies of pics of Ford truck dealer brochures that t show the rear of Ford flatbeds. I am not at home right now but I know for sure that Factory flatbed in 1965 and later had FORD in big block letters not a cursive script. I hope this helps.
