Hey wildman. If you see this give me the steps on taking the throttle linkage off of my 94 e150 5.8l van. You gave me great information the other day but I have never taken a linkage off before. Thanks man.
On top of the TB is the Throttle linkage, it's attached to the Throttle plates by just a snap on connector, you just need to get a screwdriver under the cable, and twist the blade, the cable snap fitting will pop right off.
The bracket that holds the cable is attached to the upper intake manifold (plenum) and that does not need to be removed for just removing the TB.
The end with the large spring you can see the snap connector that fits onto the throttle plate shaft.
