I'm looking for the engine towers for a 1978 F-150 4x4 with a 300 straight 6. Can anybody help me? I can't find them anywhere. Taking the 351 v8 out and putting a straight 6 in it but need the engine towers. Thank you!

No such thing as towers with 4WD. The engine supports with 4WD bolt to the inner frame rails.
Towers aka perches/stands were only used with 2WD, as they bolt to the engine cross member.

(sigh) No Ford parts catalogs, no Ford parts experience, no clue!
These are only the basic part numbers, won't help the OP one damn bit! The text section is required to get the complete part number by adding the apropos prefix and suffix.
D8TZ-6028-C .. 300 I-6 Right Engine Support / Obsolete
Applications: 1978/79 F150 4WD
------------------------------------- D6TZ-6029-A .. 300 I-6 Left Engine Support / Obsolete
Applications: 1976 F100/150/250 4WD / 1977 F250 4WD (High Boy-before serial number Y20,001) / 1977/79 F150 4WD / No F100 4WD's after 1976.
No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has either one.
Just wanna say something about Turd Party Auto Parts store engine mounts or Engine Isolators. Seem they are to tall and may have been made for the newer trucks ('80 and up). I had to order for the same year Econoline Van to get the right parts.
Quick quote about them from numberdummy (He gets around):
C7TZ-6038-A Right & C7TZ-6038-B Left .. Front Rubber Insulators
