Column wiring?
Hey guys, have a 77 custom ranger. It did nt have much for options. I had the factory steering column init but I found a 79 tilt with cruze one. Input it in and now my horn button does nt work but the horn it the cruze on button. And the horn turns the high beams onI was wondering if the columns where pined different in that curved connector on then or not. Or do I have different problems. Oh and what ps oil helps take away the wine from the ps pump. Any thing will help thanks.

It would appear your wiring is mixed up, so yes, it's apparently got a different pinout. You can check the '79 wiring diagram here:

As for power steering pump whine, that's generally a matter of properly bleeding the system.
