tilt collum

Hello everyone .
I have a 73 f100 that i am installing a tilt column out of a 79 f-150.

Is there anything i need to know about on the wiring ect.?

Any help would be appreciated.

the wiring for the horn ground is different.
You need to screw a piece of stiff bare wire between two of the screws and wrap it around the steering shaft. but other than that it fits right in. I hope this helps.

The wiring is different because the 79 Column neutral saftety/start switch is on the tranny but the 73 is on the Column.

Hazard lights are a problem too if I remember right.

I've never heard of the horn circuit being different UNLESS it has cruise control.

The Horn circuit is different if the truck has cruise.
