Long after buying my '97, I came to the realization, that I had sort of bought my dream truck as young kid. I recently remembered that I had an F-Series brochure that I used to stare at every day, and dream of the day I could own one of these trucks.
I cant remember what year the brochure was, but I'm thinking it had to have been 93-96 ish. My dad bought a 96 brand new, but I think I had it before that. It would be the Canadian version if that makes a difference.
I remember the cover of it... It had a White F-350 SC or CC, and then I THINK it has a red F-250 SC, and an F-150 (cant remember what colour (blue maybe).
I remember my grandfather asking me one day as I was starting at the cover "which one do you want?" I pointed to the White F-350 and I remember him laughing and saying "That big slug?!? Why would you want that?!?!" At the time I was obsessed with big trucks... I was dead set that I was gonna be a truck driver... And later on I had the dream of buying a Cab and Chassis, used to love looking at them everytime we drove by the dealership... Imagined owing a flatdeck of my own would be the coolest thing ever.
So anyways, now I'm trying to track one of these brochures down, and Google is turning up nothing. Anyone have a source, or somewhere I could at least start to look.
I would even be happy if someone had a copy that they could post pics of so I could look at it once again?
I don't know if this is specifically what you're looking for, but they have other stuff too.
EDIT: I just realized that the brochure in my link is in a foreign language. However, you may also find one on eBay. A quick search showed a lot of different years of brochures available.
I tossed out about a thousand '81-'96 brochures when our dealership was purchased and they cleaned house… didn't have room at my shop except for a select few.
