So ive searched....and searched then I searched some more found nothing. Ive got a 65 ford f100 352 v8 3 on the tree I tried to pop start it with the clutch all it did was drag the back tires so I yanked the transmission pulled the flywheel off nothing was catching. then I tried turning the crank and could only turn it quarter turn before it stuck mind you I was at the stop light about to go and when I did it just shut off thought I stalled it but nope no hesitation or anything before it quit new starter works fine timing gears and chain are ok it has stumped me. Anyone else have this random issue?

A warm Welcome to FTE
Johnny, try to slow down, write in some kind of sentence and paragraph structure and give clear information and a little background. I KNOW you didn't pull the transmission at a stoplight, but that's what you wrote! Not digging on you, it's tough to troubleshoot without good communication, that's all. You'll get good info here, thanks for signing up.
Well your right ha definitely didn't pull the transmission at the stoplight. Im just beyond confused is all....if I were to pull apart the motor I probably wouldn't be. Then again that is last resort
Watching the distributor rotor/drive is a good idea. Maybe pull the plugs for ease of turning crank. But in any case if it's locked up, that's not a good sign.
