98 F150 longbed Acceleration issues

Got a question... I got a 98 F150 longbed with 100,700 miles. The other day, I went to accelerate from a stop and my truck was not accelerating normally, it was bogged down and took a while for it to get up to speed. Once it got up to 70mph, it seemed to run just fine. I stopped and let it sit for about an hour and a half as I ran my errands and when I started it to come back home, it was rough to accelerate, took a little bit to get it going, the engine light was on and there was some mild shaking until it got going. The next morning, I plugged in my reader to see if there was any codes and to shut off the engine light, I got code P1747, I cleared it and took it around the block to check it. it seemed to run fine. later on I went out again and it was bogged down again but got up to speed a lot faster than the first time. I shut it down for another hour and a half and it ran fine until I got home for the night. No codes or engine light this time. The next morning, I let it sit at idle so I can check the Tranny fluid and after about 20 minutes of sitting, I get the light and the same P1747 code. Tranny fluid was fine so I reset the code once again. Now it seems like it is running fine, but I am getting ready to move from California to Texas in the beginning of June and I do not want to get stranded. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm going to give you a bit of talking to.
Why do people insist on ignoring what the codes means and just clear it as if the trouble goes way with clearing the code?
It does not. The system is positive acting, tells you there is an issue and cannot fix itself.
The 1747 code tells you the transmission Electric Pressure Control valve circuit has a short or open. Likely heat related and intermittent from the way you describe the action.
It is the main fluid pressure control for all transmission functions.
Certainly you will have drivability effects from the malfunction.
Good luck.
