If it was mine I'd remove them. But a lot depends on if your vans 302 had them also, what kind if any emission testing is in your area, etc. If you want to keep them you will most likely have to retro-fit the entire harness and system out of your donor van.

Getting rid of it sounds easy TYVM . So just hook up what the 302 had and I should be good to go ok I can do this.

I got most of the wires figured out. I used the small wiring harness from the original 302. I am having trouble with the vacuum lines. I want to hook up only the necessary lines.

I got my flexplate but can't figure out the vacuum hoses. I am not sure where to hook up the distributor vacuum line to the carb. There are so many vacuum ports on this intake, I don't know what to hook up or where.

There are a bunch of ports plugged off with hoses and screws.
