was towing with my 1990 f250 460 and all is well get to my destination. well on my way home I notice the torque converter is going in and out of lock out rpms adjusting up and down 500rpms or so ever so often(not a slipping feeling its more firm), only seems to do it in 3rd and 4th gear.
I was reading it could be the solenoid pack as well.
also at 65 or above mph if I left of the gas the truck kind of rumbles. any help would be great.
I was told when I bought the truck it had a remanufactured trans with all the wiring upgrades (I don't know what that means) so if some one could enlighten me on that as well). other then this the transmission shifts well and od off works.
I did just do a engine rebuild and the trans did look to be a reman( fresh paint and torque converter didn't look like it had 200,000 miles. before the engine rebuild it did do the shudder at 65 and up on deccel as well.
