How will extra fluid lower the temp? I was a transmission cooling engineer and I was able to prove that a larger pan and extra fluid WILL NOT cool the transmission, but maybe you know something I don't.
No argument about the drain plug, but there is a cheaper way to get a drain plug.

That is surprising . Maybe a pan with cooling tubes might work?
I've been under trucks but not while they are MOVING .
I think the theory would be that the air flows through the tubes and the air is still cooler than the fluid and greater surface area . Similar to a trans cooler in the radiator ? Hot rodders use them . I don't . I'd use a finned cooler.
I have installed thermocouples in and around transmissions to measure the temps while moving. It is hotter than the trans. So how is that going to cool the ATF?
Whenever I ran cooling tests the ambient temp was a minimum of 95F. If I was running in a wind tunnel it was set at 95F with heat lamps adding sun load. Often we ran out in the Arizona desert, where it was anywhere from 95F to my personal record, 121F.
I worked on a car at CopperWorld at PIR.
#57 Dave Byrd.(I'm in the video too . My team pointed me out) I hear you on temps. It cooled down to 105 at night and 120+ during the week.
