How will extra fluid lower the temp? I was a transmission cooling engineer and I was able to prove that a larger pan and extra fluid WILL NOT cool the transmission, but maybe you know something I don't.
No argument about the drain plug, but there is a cheaper way to get a drain plug.

Thanks for the insight, guess I fell for their marketing info haha. Are the mag-hytec differential covers useless too?

Not as much. There is less hot air from the engine and exhaust that far back, plus most rear axles don't have any cooler. Ford installed finned aluminum diff covers on certain trucks. They only did that because they needed to lower the tem0. It worked. It doesn't work on a trans.
