Changing the oil pan this weekend!
2003 F250 6.0 4wd.
I've read I can lift the engine a couple inches, and slide her out; anyone have any tips before I get my hands dirty?

Read on another forum just a few minutes ago that it was not necessary for the 6.0. They said it could be done with engine in place. I can't confirm or deny.
Project done!
I ended up lifting the engine right until the turbo touched the firewall, and almost had to remove the turbo, but a rubber mallet, patience and careful fingers got the old one of, and new one on.
It took me a couple hours, but anyone doing it them selves in the way that I did should plan on at least a day for the oh ***** moments.... Because your gonna have them.
Upper radiator and shroud bolts off (6)
Engine mount bolts off, 21mm (4)
Lift engine, I jacked it from the crank pulley using a 2x4.
All the pan bolts, 8mm....have extensions and an imagination and patience with them!
Drop oil pickup tube in pan, 8mm (2)
Remove pan
New Pan with oil pickup inside.
Bolt up oil pickup, small hands and patience here!
All bolts on, slowly jack down, engine and radiator bolts.
Fill oil and service since your already feeling greasy.
Say a prayer.
Test drive.
