Heater blend door missing? need help
Hey everyone, so with my new truck, one thing I was noticing was that I only have full bore heat, not temp control.
Got the controls apart and discovered the cables going to the blend door were cut. Ok, so then I removed the glove box and the panel to get to the blend door and I think it is totally AWOL! The push/pull actuator is still on top but I don't see it connected to anything.
Does anyone have a pic of what the door should look like installed? Can I replace the blend door without taking things apart any further?
I will be heading to a junkyard soon and was hoping to find a decent cable, actuator and door.
It is a 1996 F250 with factory A/C. I was thinking there may be other models that use the same setup?
