Help me decide on an Explorer purchase!
Hi all, I'm now looking at a 4dr. 2000 Explorer A/T with the 5.0L V-8, moonroof, power seats, the whole nine yards... it comes with the 4wd selector in the dash... Is this a good model year for the 2nd gen Explorer?, anything I should look for?. It will be primarily used for family hauling with eventual mild off-roading. I am wondering whether the traditional 4wd selector for the 2nd generation Explorers is reliable or does it break often? Any other thoughts?, thank you.
