Rear axle movement and diff problems

After changing my axle bearings to stop axle play and get rid of the big clunk when I turn, it turns out that that was not this issue. Now I have no idea what it could be does any one have any ideas? And as my spider gears are chewed up pretty good I'm wondering if I should just swap out my diff for a used one from a wrecker and if I do that what's the best way to make sure I get an 8.8? Just so it's the same.

Any reason you started a second thread for the same issue? Usually it works out better to keep it all in one thread.
