!!!!EGR deleted!!! Nice
I'm like school girl excited ! I purchased for like $1 a 3/4 cap nut , made a quick plate from scrap and bam!! Truck runs way better peddle is lot more firm and isn't boggy any more . My egr was sticking open causing I believe the p430 and p420 codes . Shut egr off with chip but wasn't right till the delete . Almost ordered the kit on line for $30 but once I figured out the size of nut it was on ! $1 dollar bob

They seem fine but if cats go then I'll just get rid of them, lovE Montana , but numbers on live data are stable for the 02's . My check engine light went off when I shut the egr off not the 02 sensors Which are still on . I wasn't about to get new egr to see if a good one affected the p0430 &20 codes . I understand what your saying , but does the egr have anything at all to do with the cats or exhaust hmm . I never got any codes telling me my egr was bad n it was stuck wide open. Hugs n kisses

There is no relationship between the CATS and EGR.
If you had no codes indicating an EGR system fault you wasted your money and effort.
The computer does not make a mistake or set codes 'unrelated' to a fault in another system.
The only proper way to see what's going on is the use of a Scanner to look at live and stored data.
Then you have to interpret what you see, correctly.
Changing parts and seeing some kind reaction is just guessing and leads to wrong assumptions, and you still don't know what's going on.
Huggs and kisses. You need it.
Good luck.

Skiddy, you came here with questions and misleading statements and now don't want to listen and hide behind names toward me.
I know your not going to agree but deleting the EGR has no performance benefit.
Do you know how the system works and what it is there for?
I doubt it!.
You people from the mountain states are pretty hard headed so I'm not going any further with this since you already have your mind set.
I thought you would listen to fact but seem not so.
I do wish you luck in any event because your going to do what you will.
Best wishes.

I call my everyone billy n cousin, even my boss n daughters . Wasn't trying to b rude . I'm seriously confused why shutting the egr off with my chip made the p0430 n p420 go away? I believe I tried shutting off the rear O2's n they stayed on . That black box that the two lil lines from egr pipe kept getting moisture build up . I'm using the same throttle body from previous motor and it was was almost caked closed on egr port like a hippies bong .I did clean it first / I'm sure I could've bought a new egr n my truck would've ran better Or same cause egr would only b opening when supposed to allowing proper operation nox's and Co2's absorb cylinder heat help cooling Cylinders and exhaust valves n help correction detonation, but it can also kill o2's actually reducing eficiency .the fact that it can also clog n dirty you valves (Possibly making Excess for cats to work with?) That last part wAs more of a question . Remember this is for science .
But seriously I can't off hand think y shutn egr off made my codes go away. I do feel my cats are good, might not though, but one day like 3,4 months ago my truck all a sudden, ran the same but was super quiet ,Sounded like a stock v10 for like 5 miles n my truck is by far quiet, theN It was loud again. I'm not a dr . I kinda look forward to u bluegrass And a couple others to kinda straighten the facts .

Last pic is the T in vacuum line from egr that I removed . Not 100% sure if this is totally right ,correct me if wrong anyone. Also I was trying to get the piece out of the header that the egr bolted to n plug it with a bolt, but it wouldn't budge n didn't want to break header. I'm eventually going to use some penetration spray that won't hopefully hurt cats ? Meow
