I have three 48 to 49 F-68's and two of them have a switch under the edge of the dash under the start button. They appear to be factory original switches. What are they for ? Also do they make a manual for the 48 to 50 monkey face trucks? , Doug.

BTW, anyone looking for one of these switches it the same switch used on my '49 Ford 8N tractor to turn the back implement light on. You can still get them from the 8N parts dealers. PN 8N13740
I always thought the switch was for clearance lights on the bigger trucks. My 49 f1 has the hole in that location but no evidence there was a switch installed there. Just my thoughts. My dad had a 3 ton Ford back in the fifties and tha'ts what he had there.
