Is there any plan to bring back the ROTW? I need some weekly inspiration.

 

As of right now, ROTW is still on hiatus and in a holding pattern.

Why is that?

 

IB peeps are posting ROW on the Ford-Trucks facebook page.

Sorry we can't get this back on FTE.

 

I guess those of us who don't do Facebook will have to continue to do Google Image searches for trucks to get inspiration.

 

This is a great concept!! Would love to see this up and running!!

How about "Ride Of The Month"? Finding a ride every week might be a little much but I'm sure doing one every month should be easier.

 

I second that. I know thirdgen.org (I know.. its a chevy forum don't hate me! I do own a 91 camaro) does ride of the month which seems pretty cool.

Ride of the month here would be a little more manageable for the moderators, and also more exciting for the winners (being that its 4x more prestigious to get!)

Edit: I don't know how it was done here, but people nominate the cars (not the owners) for the ride of the month on third gen, then they get voted on.

 

Just another vote for bringing back ROTW. I always looked forward to that and appreciated the work that went into getting that up on the forum. I guess if you're not on Facebook it basically passed away when Steve did.

Miss them both.

 

Long story short, the moderators for this forum chose the vehicles for ROTW. It was already a tad cumbersome traversing the different steps to accomplish the feat, but as the forum software got upgraded, the task of choosing and posting a ROTW became very difficult and not at all intuitive in nature.

We're hoping it gets back to the way it was, streamlined and easier to do, so we can get back to having featured trucks once again.
