OT, Mostly

Finally got around to my cruse control recall ( recent thread spurred me on) and I saw this in a service bay. It was the first convertable sold at this dealership and purchased back by the current owner of the dealership about 2 years ago. 31,000 original 284 4 speed.

Yup... I had one of those - but not a convertible. It had the vinyl cover on top, so it looked a little like a convertible.

I don't see the pony interior from here... I had that as well.

Nice find, thanks for sharing.

What's the pony interior Tug? This one was a GT with bucket seats, factory tach and clock on column.

I had a '70 as my first car. Pulled those same wheels out of a junk yard for her, back in '82. I wish I still had every car I've ever owned... well, maybe not the Datsun in college.

I had a '68 as my first car. had to sell her a few years ago for a down payment on my house. Miss that car every summer.

Imprint of horses running on the seat back - like "Lariet" on my current Ford.
