Ck the fuse in the fuse box under the dash.
Remove the lens cover and ck the bulb.
Ck the ground wire up from the bulb receptacle.
Still no flash, replace the flasher unit behind the dash.
After that its turning signal cam/assembly time in the steering column.

The ground wire in the light socket on my '77 had corroded and came loose inside. I drilled a hole in the side, soldered it In place then filled hole with rtv. All better now. Remove light from socket. Attach ground from test light to chassis. Touch test light to blinker diode in socket. If she blinks then your ground was not coming through to bulb base initially.
