Times are changing...

For many years, I have chosen to purchase Michelin tires and have been very pleased. The tires on my truck are just beginning to show some signs of wear as they are approaching 50K miles and are a little over 5 years old. They are 215/75R15 LTX M/S. I went to the Michelin web page and there is a link to the "Technical Department". I asked what tire they would recommend with gas mileage being foremost and said that it did not have to be a "truck" tire since I rarely carry any load of significant weight. They replied that Michelin no longer manufactures that size for my truck. I replied that it was sad... I have used Michelins since the 1970s and can no longer do so!

Do they make a 225/75/15? You would never notice the difference.

You might have to go to 235/75 to fit a 15" rim.

I agree, I actually use this size on my truck. They make Michelin LTX M/S 2 which Im assuming is a new and improved version of what you're looking for?

Looking at Michelin's site it looks like they're only offering the LTX M/S in 5 sizes: 31x10.50-15, P275/70R16, P275/70R16, P245/65R17 and P245/60R18.

The LTX M/S2 is offered in 42 sizes, but 215/75-15 isn't one of them. P235/75-15 is the only 15" rim size I see offered.
